Spray Foam Insulation Tax Rebates

  • We love the spray foam you did for our home. Added 900 square ft, you put 6" foam in our roof 3 years ago over the upstairs addition. Our energy bills didn't go up a penny- just shows how much heat we were losing in the winter and letting in the attic in the summer. Great investment!
    - Ernie, Jackson TN

  • I have seen the Spray Foam system before, but only in the home improvement shows on TV. I was introduced to Apex by my contractor, and was convinced to try it. Couldn't be happier! Great return on investment.
    - Mike, Nashville TN

  • I was in my house built in 1948 for 3 winters, each year I would add more fiberglass insulation to the floors in my crawl space. My home was never warm until I tried spray foam. Not only is the house warmer, but it has saved me money on the energy bill.
    - Michael, Nashville TN

  • Apex Building Company provided whole house residential spray foam insulation for my new home. They did an excellent professional job. I would recommend them for any insulation job of any size!
    - George, Jackson TN

  • I hired this company to spray insulation into my newly built steel construction home. They came in and did a very professional job enclosing the entire shell with open cell foam, sealing every conceivable leak. I have been very please with the results and ascribe my low utility bills to it!
    - Pete, Memphis TN

  • Apex was very professional and knew about the product they were selling. I talked to several spray foam contractors and none of them were as knowledgeable as Michael at Apex. They cleaned up well and made sure things were done to suit me. I Highly Recommend them for anything spray foam or insulation!

ABAA Air Barriers With Spray Foam Insulation

ABAA is the center of excellence in the air barrier industry. The association's long term strategy revolves around three intertwining goals.

  • First - The association seeks to raise the standard of proficiency in the industry through the ABAA On-Site Quality Assurance Program, based on the principles outlined in ISO 9000.
  • Second - ABAA will continue to play a pivotal role in the education, lobbying and marketing of the industry to government, the professional community, building owners, utilities and other industry stakeholders.
  • Third - ABAA is dedicated to furthering continuing education in the industry. ABAA offers premier training to installers, estimators, managers and administrators on the contractor side, as well as AIA accredited courses for design professionals.

Field quality assurance program is the result of a variety of initiatives that provide a level of assurance that each product and accessory is installed correctly and each service is being provided to the highest possible standards.

ABAA's Quality Assurance Program consists of several components, all working together to provide you with the highest level of confidence that the air barrier will be installed correctly and to high industry standards. ABAA's QAP is modeled after the standards laid out in the ISO 9000 program. APEX maintains strict accordance to the QAP programs and ensures our products have been installed correctly

There are many reasons to specify the ABAA Quality Assurance Program in your projects. Often, the air barrier assembly is a non-maintainable component of the building enclosure. You only have one chance to ensure correct installation before the application of other building components in the envelope. Repair costs can be up to 60 times more expensive than ensuring proper installation the first time around. It is very important to make sure the job is done right, the first time!

  • Decrease in liability
  • Support from an impartial body
  • Detailed daily records of each project
  • Assurance in a specified installation
  • Providing the best for your client
  • Technical resources for architects

On any project that incorporates the ABAA QAP, you will receive the following:

Installers are required to undertake quality control measures on a daily basis. They have completed air barrier training and utilize equipment to inspect and test the quality of their work to ensure it conforms to the standards outlined in the QAP.

The installers document the entire installation process on daily job site reports. These reports include information on the installer, substrates, substrate preparation, products used, ambient and substrate temperature, the location of the air barrier installation, the results of their quality control procedures and testing results. Every job site report is reviewed by the Quality Assurance Program managers and data based.

Installers are required to complete leading-edge training programs designed to provide them with the skill sets required to perform air barrier installations to the highest degree of quality. APEX installers have completed the necessary training and testing by ABAA to perform quality and professional air barriers.

Only contractors who have met ABAA's mandatory quality assurance and training requirements are awarded accredited contractor status. APEX Building Company LLC is one of two contractors located in the state of TN ABAA-accredited to install spray foam air barriers.
